Come and Worship
We would love to have you be a part of our worshipping community. Come as you are.
June & July Schedule10:00 Single Service
We resume our two service schedule of 8:45 Contemporary Service and 11:00 Traditional service on August 13.
Our worship services include communion. All who wish to partake of the body and blood of Jesus are welcome to do so.
First SundayOn the first Sunday of the month we have a potluck and some committee meetings following worship. There is also an ingathering of our "First 5" offering. Everyone one is invited to bring an above-and-beyond offering of 5 somethings to help facilitate the ministry that happens through Christ the Good Shepherd.
Season of Pentcost
We celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit let loose among the believers. Our emphasis is on the early church and how the Holy Spirit continues to call, gather, equip and enlighten us to serve.
August 11-13 Family Camp
We would love to get as many people as possible (in whatever configuration your family is: individual, couple, multi-generational, with kids, blended, with friends, etc., etc.) out to:
for a weekend of fun, fellowship and faith formation. If you have any questions please contact Pastor Karl or Ashley DeLaRosa.
Space is limited in the camp cabins. There is an abundance of space for tents and trailers. Please register now by clicking on the Camp Lutherwood logo above. If you indicate Christ the Good Shepherd Lutheran church as your congregation they will apply a $25 discount to your registration after the fact.
July 30 Congregational Meeting
We will be having an informational meeting about some possibilities with the property behind the church. All are invited to hear from our guest presenter. This meeting will be held in the Gathering Room after our 10:00 worship service on Sunday, July 30th.
Monthly Joint Potluck
One of the clear messages that came out of our many 1-to-1 conversations with folks is the desire to have some worship services with the entire community. To that end, the church council has decided that the first Sunday of the month will be a joint worship service at 10:00.
In order to have even more time for interaction and community building there will be a potluck following the service. Please plan to stay for a meal after worship. If you forget your dish to pass please come anyway. There is always enough food to go around--remember the loaves and the fishes.
