Everyone one is invited to bring an above-and-beyond offering of 5 somethings to help facilitate the ministry that happens through Christ the Good Shepherd.

Seasonal Emphasis

End of Church Year

We are in the last fortnight or so of the church year. Our assigned texts are looking toward the end times. Our messages, prayers and our meditations are more reflective of where we have been and where we are going in a more ultimate sense. We take stock of our lives and the good and sure promises that Jesus brings to bear into them.

Bonus Potluck
November 19

We are having a Thanksgiving potluck after 2nd service on Sunday, November 19. Ham and turkey will be provided. People are invited to join their church family for a Thanksgiving meal and to bring a side dish to contribute.

Monthly Joint Potluck
December 3

One of the clear messages that came out of our many 1-to-1 conversations with folks is the desire to have some worship services with the entire community. To that end, the church council has decided that the first Sunday of the month will be a joint worship service at 10:00.

In order to have even more time for interaction and community building there will be a potluck following the service. Please plan to stay for a meal after worship. If you forget your dish to pass please come anyway. There is always enough food to go around--remember the loaves and the fishes.
