In Christ You Matter

You have been fashioned in the image of God. You have been gifted and equipped by God. You are an invaluable treasure.

God loves you so very much. It is impossible to do anything to make God love you more. God is love. In God's love God became one of us in the person of Jesus Christ. Jesus has done what is required to restore you into relationship with God. You cannot earn that love. Which is why you cannot do anything to increase God's love. It is available to you freely (which is what St. Paul is talking about in Ephesians while talking about saved by grace):

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God--not the results of works, so that no one may boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9 (NRSV)

God loves you so very much. It is impossible to do anything to make God love you less. God is love. While we all sin and fall short of the glory of God it is God's will that we all come to repentance and salvation. When we stray, and we will, God comes after us seeking us, restoring us and renewing us. No matter where you have been or what you have done in Christ you matter.

In Christ you matter. And you matter to us. If we can be helpful as you seek to encounter God please don't hesitate to approach us. Please feel free to contact us or, better yet, come worship with us.
