Full Job Description

  • Position Summary: Maintains church office administrative tasks including
  • Acts as first point of contact for the church in person, by phone, email, and social media
  • Prepares weekly and special bulletins and monthly newsletter
  • Maintains website and social media platforms and update with current information
  • Processes incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Enters financial information into Quickbooks and produces reports
  • Provides clerical support for the Pastor as needed
  • Schedules building use and coordinate with users
  • Schedules maintenance

Skills and Qualifications Needed for this Position

· Combination of education and experience in office management

  • High school graduate or GED
  • Office experience required (1-3 years)

· Experience in electronic communication and social media including Microsoft Office Suites

· Graphic design and publishing skills are preferred.

Experience using Quickbooks data entry, or willingness to learn

· Excellent interpersonal and communications skills

· Excellent organizational skills

· Ability to work independently

· Ability to effectively collaborate with staff, volunteers and community members

· Ability to maintain confidentiality

· Professional presentation (appearance, demeanor)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.14 - $18.00 per hour

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Salem, OR 97301: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
